Responsible for enterprise, growth & business investment, strengthening regional economies, Small Business Service including business support simplification, construction, creative industries, retail.

Better Regulation Executive, Better Regulation within DBERR.

Services Directive, consumer affairs and competition issues.

Jonathan Djanogly MP
Shadow Minister for Postal Affairs, Employment and Corporate Governance.

Corporate governance, Companies Act implementation, Companies House, corporate social responsibility, general oversight of the Shareholder Executive, specifically the Industrial Development Unit.

Responsible for employment relations, trade unions, ACAS, Insolvency Service (including company investigations).

Geoffrey Clifton Brown MP
Shadow Minister for Trade (Jointly with, FCO and DFID)

Responsible for UK Trade and Investment.

Responsible for Trade Policy.


Export controls and Export Credits Guarantee Department.
