Letters should always be sent to Alan Duncan MP at the House of Commons.

Parliamentary rules about how MPs can use their allowances require them to keep a strict distinction between parliamentary and political activity. Parliamentary allowances (which go to staff and office costs, not the MP) must be used for parliamentary purposes only, and cannot be used for political campaigning.

An MP will set up his own office either in Parliament or in the constituency, or both, and this must be distinct from the local party organisation.

I have a full time employee in Westminster, and a permanently staffed office in Melton Mowbray to handle all my constituency casework. In addition, the Rutland & Melton Conservative Association, which has to raise its own funds for political campaigning, is headquartered in Melton.
