On Friday 20th March Alan joined opponents of the proposed Woolfox Wind Farm to give his backing to their campaign.
Viewing the site from Clipsham in Rutland with local residents Richard Foster and Colin Ashpole, Alan again re-iterated his opposition to the plans, which would involve nine turbines, each up to 130 metres tall.
Alan said: ‘There is near universal opposition to this application, which would devastate the local landscape. I will fight this proposal hard, as I have with other unsuitable turbine applications in Rutland. The turbines at Woolfox would be massive, numerous and totally out of keeping with the character of the area. They must be rejected.’
