Alan meets local volunteers

Alan Duncan, MP for Rutland and Melton this week met with local members of Voluntary Action Melton. The group, which runs a number of outreach projects in the community, is currently working to secure its funding for the next year and spoke with Mr Duncan about the best way to ensure the group’s survival.

Alan said, ‘The work of Voluntary Action Melton and other groups like it in the area is truly indispensible to those who depend on it. They are the Big Society in action and I will be doing all I can to help them continue their fantastic work.’
