Alan's staff wear it pink

On Friday 29th October,Alan’s constituency office was given a pink touch in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign. The local MP’s staff hosted a well-attended ‘Wear it Pink party’ in support of the occasion, raising £133 for the cause by raffling a number of items. Alan even donated bottle of pink champagne for the occasion!

Alan commented ‘The  day was a great success and I’m very impressed with my staff for doing such an excellent job of raising awareness and money for such an important campaign at the same time as having some fun!’

Almost 46,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. Breast Cancer Campaign actively works to raise awareness of breast cancer issues on behalf of people with breast cancer and researchers. The Campaign aims to be the leading specialist in breast cancer research across the UK and Ireland and work to raise awareness of breast cancer issues to support our future research.
