On Friday 12th October Alan visited bosses at Pera in Melton Mowbray, one of the constituency’s largest employers, to discuss the company’s recent development and plans for the future.
Alan met Executive Chairman John Hill, Managing Director Richard Grice, and Commercial Director Colin Moody to discuss the company’s role as the UK’s fastest growing provider of apprenticeships, its wider international aspirations and its role in the community through encouraging youth volunteering. The firm employs over 400 people and has grown to become the country's largest provider to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills of services designed to help to small businesses.
Alan said: ‘I was glad to visit Pera again and hear about their plans for the future. Pera has had a longstanding position in Melton Mowbray for many years as a key local employer and I was interested to hear about the company’s plans to continue the growth they have achieved over the past few years, as well as how they will maintain their presence in local community and voluntary programmes.’
