Alan visits Wing Grange

On Friday 10th May, Alan visited Wing Grange rehabilitation home in Oakham to witness Travis Perkins handing over £1000 worth of building materials to the home as a charitable donation.

Wing Grange, part of the Langley House Trust, provides accommodation and training aimed at getting its residents back to work and to prevent reoffending. It plans to use the donation on a project in support of Oakham in Bloom.

Alan attended alongside Cllr Edward Baines, Adam Lowe, Branch Manager of Travis Perkins, Bruce Harrison and Richard Everitt from Wing Grange and Tracey Wild, CEO of Langley House Trust as pictured left to right.

Alan said: “This is a splendid example of local generosity. I congratulate Travis Perkins and Wing Grange for the project in support of Oakham in Bloom and for helping the men who pass through to rebuild their lives.”
