Alan welcome Cold Overton broadband news

Alan has welcomed an annoncement that should lead to the extension of superfast broadband to Cold Overton, Leicestershire.

Having been contacted by residents worried about their coverage, Alan supported their business case to BT.

BT and Leicestershire County Council have now signed a new 'Superfast Extension Programme' contract, which is scheduled to include the village in its roll out.

Alan said: 'This is great news. I took up the cudgels on behalf of the village, who had put together a very strong business case for inclusion in the Extension programme and I am delighted the have been rewarded with good news.'
